Set
of SIX vintage bakelite napkin rings that are an unusual shape. The oval shape
reminds me of an abstract eye! The color of the 1930's bakelite resin is a deep
green with swirls of butterscotch. The napkin rings are 2 5/8" long and 2 3/4"
wide. They are very big and clunky and 3 /4" wide. The inner space where you put
the napkin is 1 3/8" by 1 1/8". All 6 napkin rings are in excellent condition
with no chips or cracks or loss of shine. These pieces, of course, would also be
fabulous to make a necklace or other bakelite project .SOLD

fabulous set of bakelite flatware -- These 1930's
forks, knives, teaspoons, and soup spoons have handles that are half red
bakelite and half butterscotch -- a creamy yellow. They are striking on the
table. The forks are 7 1/2" long, the soup spoons are 7 5/8" long, the teaspoons
are 6 3/4" long, and the knives are 9" long. There are 6 of each except for the
teaspoons where there are just 5, for a total of 23 pieces. One of the knives
has a little chip on the handle, quite tiny, that I have shown you in the close
up photograph. Aside from that sign of over 70 years of history, all of the
flatware is in excellent condition with no other chips or cracks, etc. The metal
parts are marked "stainless steel". I don't see any maker's marks on the set

Amazing Art Deco Farberware of Brooklyn NY chrome cocktail shaker and
matching bar tray, cocktail shaker was made in the 1930's and the shape is
called "Bubble Cocktail Shaker", handles on shaker and on tray are wood painted
black with red wood balls, cocktail shaker is 13" tall with the biggest "bubble"
being about 4 1/4" wide, spout has screw on tip, cocktail shaker is missing (as
are almost all of them ) the little wood bar that would have gone through the
hole in the knob on the lid, the tray is 18 1/4" long and 12" wide, center is
brushed chrome as on most bar trays of the period so you would get it noticeably
scratched with use, cocktail shaker and tray top both have a few light
scratches, the underside of the tray is quite scratched from use over these 80
or more years, no loss of chrome or splits, a RARE FIND! ... $475 for the
set

Fabulous set of 1950's dancers plaques, appear to be aluminum with black cold

metal, each figure is about 9" long and & 7"tall", for each the headdress

A
fun and interesting aluminum tray made by Wendall August Forge of PA. The tray
has a very detailed scene of the city of Pittsburgh, PA. The landscape focuses
in the foreground on a tram heading down the hill which I assume may be carrying
coal to the harbor but it could also be train tram as I don't know all the best
sites of this great American City. There is also the whole cityscape on the
upper right and the stadium on the left and the bridge and whole harbor. The
small tray is 9 7/8" long and 4 3/4" wide. It is in excellent condition with no
chips or cracks or corrosion and has the maker's mark on the back as shown in
the photo.... $30 ea
